ATHOL, Idaho — Authorities in northern Idaho arrested a 13-year-old suspected of leading deputies on a high-speed chase at larger than 100 mph.

Kootenai County deputies arrested Monday near Athol.

Deputies say the driving drive, who had a 15-year-old passenger alongside, sped the SUV by the use of a stop sign on state Highway 54 at about 1 a.m., then continued on the freeway at extreme speeds as deputies tried to stop the automobile.

Authorities say the driving drive lastly stopped when a mum or dad often called actually one among them and “told them to stop for the police.”

The 13-year-old was arrested and booked into the Kootenai County Juvenile Detention Facility and sure faces a value of felony eluding police and reckless driving.
