A Massachusetts man has acquired $1 million in the lottery — for the second time in just 12 months and a half.
Rolf Rhodes acquired his $1-million jackpot last May with a $10 immediate sport, opting to take a one-time payment of $650,000.
On Wednesday, the Massachusetts State Lottery revealed the Mendon man had acquired his second $1 million with a definite “Instant Jackpot” sport.
He beat odds of 1-in-1.68 million to get the large win — although lottery officers are however to reveal the chances of actually profitable twice.
This time, Rhodes chosen the annuity option to get 20 annual funds of $50,000, the lottery talked about on its website online.
He bought the ticket at a space gas station that now will get $10,000 for selling the profitable ticket.
