Lightning strike injures as many as a dozen people in South Carolina




A lightning strike on the Fourth of July injured as many as a dozen people near a South Carolina sand bar, in accordance with experiences.

The incident was reported around 2:10 p.m. Thursday near a river by the Lawshe Plantation, the place a tree was struck by the lightning bolt, in accordance with info station WPDE.

Emergency responders rushed three people to the hospital, along with one who was critically injured. The two completely different victims have been being dealt with for minor accidents, info station WCSC reported.

The National Weather Service initially reported that 4 people have been unresponsive.
