A 14-year-old Illinois boy who was born without arms accomplished a 20-inch box jump Sunday, an achievement captured in a video that has since gone viral.
Tim Bannon was ending a year-round core and leg strengthening teaching at NubAbility Athletics — a camp designed to instruct and encourage so-called “limb different youth” in Du Quoin, Ill.,

“All the those who know you, ‘you can’t…’ Right proper right here,” Tim’s coach, Sabrina Reiswig, said in the video after thumping her finger on the box. “Jump on it [the box], now.”
Seconds later caught the landing.
“All the people who acknowledged I truly, truly couldn’t have been in the doorway of my ideas saying, ‘Just don’t do it,’ ‘You’re too weak to do it,” Bannon knowledgeable Chicago WLS, together with that he was in tears after he accomplished his goal.
He’s since moved on to a model-new goal: Training for subsequent month’s Chicago Triathlon.

“He might help different youngsters that wrestle the identical method as he does and possibly they received’t need to wrestle as a lot,” Tim’s mother Linda Bannon knowledgeable the station.
