NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Dole is recalling loads of baby spinach due to Salmonella concerns.
Announced by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Dole Fres Vegetables is recalling 6 0z Dole Baby Spinach baggage and 10 oz Dole Baby Spinach clamshell with use-by dates of 8-5-2019.
The affected merchandise has been distributed in Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The baby spinach baggage has masses code of W203010 and UPC code 0-71430-00964-2. The clamshell merchandise has masses code of W203010 and a UPC code of 0-71430-00016-8.
Salmonella infections may set off fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdomen ache. The illness primarily impacts youthful children, frail or aged people, and others with weakened immune strategies in line with the FDA.
Consumers are urged to return or discard the merchandise.
