Chicago Bulls reach contract extension with head coach Jim Boylen




The Chicago Bulls agreed to a contract extension with head coach Jim Boylen, the workforce launched Friday.

The workforce didn’t disclose the phrases of the contract.

“Jim has a strong vision on where he wants to take this team, and he has done a great job establishing the culture that we want this organization to stand for as we continue to progress,” Bulls authorities vice chairman of basketball operations John Paxson talked about in a press launch. “He has tremendous passion for developing young talent, is a strong communicator and a good fit for this team. The organization is confident in the direction that he is taking our players, and we are committed to him.”

Boylen modified former coach Fred Hoiberg, who was fired in December. Boylen beforehand agreed to a quick contract which will run by means of the conclusion of the 2019-20 season. His new multiyear contract will change his earlier deal.
