Packers sign veteran TE Lewis

The Inexperienced Bay Packers continued to overtake their offense with the addition of veteran tight finish Marcedes Lewis.

A free agent who was launched by the Jacksonville Jaguars in March, Lewis posted a photograph on his Twitter account Thursday of him signing a contract with the Packers.

The 34-year-old Lewis, who spent his first 12 seasons with the Jaguars, will present depth behind Jimmy Graham, who was signed to a three-year, $30-million deal by the Packers in March.

Though Jacksonville signed Lewis to a one-year, $three.5 million choice on Feb. 20, he was launched when the membership added a pair of free brokers in tight ends Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Niles Paul.

Lewis made 24 receptions for 318 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2017 and likewise had 4 catches for 21 yards and a rating within the playoffs. He has 375 receptions for four,502 yards with 33 touchdowns in 170 profession video games since being chosen by Jacksonville with the 28th total decide of the 2006 NFL Draft.
