Joe Biden expected to announce 2020 presidential run

Joe Biden has instructed some prime Democrats that he’s working for president, Axios reported Saturday.

The former vice chairman even set Tuesday as a possible announcement date, the paper acknowledged.

Even Biden’s youngest brother, Frank, instructed the Palm Beach Post that he expects a run.

“Now, he could surprise me,” the brother, a Palm Beach resident, instructed the paper. “But I know the family’s behind him 100 percent.”

In an interview Saturday night with Jeanine Pirro on Fox News, Trump acknowledged he wasn’t nervous.

“A lot of people say Biden is doing OK, but you know, he was always a 1-percenter,” Trump taunted.

“He ran two or three times, he never got above 1 percent. And then [Barack] Obama came along and took him off the trash heap, and he became a vice president, and now he’s leading.”

Meanwhile, former San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro dove into the 2020 presidential race Saturday, turning into the latest Democratic contender for his social gathering’s nomination.
